After purchasing Ketchie Creek Bakery & Cafe in 2008, husband and wife team Gerald and Renna Welborn wanted to maintain its tradition and influence within Mocksville and the surrounding area.

Having a young family themselves, they realized the importance of a strong and thriving community … and they desired to preserve Ketchie Creek's deeply rooted reputation as Davie County's premier bakery and cafe while exploring new ways to meet the needs of their customers.

They are immersed both personally and professionally in Mocksville, are active in the local business community, and support many non-profit and charitable organizations throughout the Triad.
